Butter Bean and Pesto Pasta

  • 8oz of pasta shapes
  • 14oz can of butter beans
  • 3 tbsp of Sacla' Classic Pesto
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1/4 pint of single cream
  • 1/4 tsp of fresh nutmeg
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp of pine nuts
  • 3oz of grated cheese to top

How to make it

  • Boil the pasta until just soft.
  • Drain pasta and return to pan adding olive oil and nutmeg, stir well.
  • Heat the beans in another saucepan with the pesto and cream, stirring until it begins to simmer.
  • Toss the beans and pesto mix into the pasta, until well combined.
  • Serve in bowls topped with pine nuts and grated cheese.
